VULTURE KING

I grew up in a house where everybody listened to and appreciated music, my family would go for drives and listen to oldies and 60s 70s rock or whatever rock channel was playing tasty music on the good ol' FM radio. For as long as I can remember I would sing along with every song that I heard, my mother has recordings of me singing rock songs at the age of five. When I developed my own musical taste as a teenager I picked bands like Megadeth, Danzig, Type O-negative, Ronnie James Dio, Black sabbath and Faith no more. At about 16 my voice dropped substantially and I would find myself singing along with the legendary Peter Steele more often than any other artist. I can recall a couple occasions when I would be singing along with the album "Bloody Kisses" at the top of my lungs and my parents would ask me if I was trying to kill a cow in my room.(Thanks Mom and Dad) I did take voice training for a short time with a renowned opera singer who got me to breathe properly and showed me voice training exercises. I typically warm up before a show by smoking a cigarette and drinking a cold beer. ( My vocal coach would kill me if she knew....shhhhhh.) As a founding member of Vulture King I am thrilled to be playing the kind of music we make and I'm also grateful for the friendship that evolved within the band. The guys in the band are like my brothers and we're aiming to kick this world on its ass. Horns up!
